Council told to 'spend up'
26/11/2008 | SHOALHAVEN City Council has received a $1.4 million economic windfall and Ulladulla could be one of the main beneficiaries. The Federal Government last week announced $300 million in additional funding for local government to stimulate growth and economic activity across Australia and to support national productivity and community well-being.

26/11/2008 | ULLADULLA High School is calling on local businesses to go Back to Basics and support the school’s environmental initiative. Set for Friday, December 4, Back to Basics Day will see the school cut down on electricity use while minimising waste.

Combes claims classic
26/11/2008 | Sunshine and big smiles were the theme of the day for the Aristocrat Mollymook Women’s Classic with Victoria’s Kate Combes taking the win. It was Kate’s second year contesting the classic and with an impressive two under par score of 71, Kate won the day convincingly scoring the only under par result of the day.
Boaties braved cold for classic
26/11/2008 | THE big guns from Sydney and interstate helped lift the quality of competition but it was NSW crews competing in the second annual Mollymook Surfboat Classic that proved to be the dominant force. Saturday's event on Mollymook Beach attracted 120 crews from around Australia - almost double that of last year - and organisers say competitors stuck around for longer and spent more, providing a valuable boost to the local economy.
